Local IT Coordinator – Svalner Atlas Netherlands

Svalner Atlas operates a centralised, outsourced IT model: our managed IT provider, Intility, handles infrastructure, security, and remote support. The Local IT Coordinator is the trusted on-site link between our employees and Intility with someone who resolves what can be fixed quickly, escalates intelligently, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. The role combines hands-on end-user support with service-oriented communication and lightweight project coordination. We are looking for a proactive, service-minded individual with 2–5 years of IT support experience who is self-sufficient and comfortable working within a defined IT framework rather than building one independently. On-site presence in Amsterdam is required.

Responsibilities

End-User Support

• Provide onsite support for issues that cannot be resolved remotely. Manage walk-up and email requests professionally, redirecting to Intility support where appropriate.

• Deliver priority support to VIP users (e.g. Partners) and handle situations requiring a quick fix.

Hardware & Software Management

• Manage the lifecycle of +150 laptops, including replacement due to hardware failure and scheduled refresh after two years of usage.

• Install and configure PCs through collaboration with Intility and specific applications for new and existing users.

• Handle IT equipment orders and monitor stock levels and delivery times.

• Manage cell phones: ordering new devices and subscriptions and replacing broken or lost handsets.

Onboarding, Offboarding & Access Management

• Play a key role in the onboarding and offboarding process in cooperation with HR, ensuring new joiners are fully equipped and leavers are properly off-boarded.

• Manage email distribution lists and similar tasks using the Intility Identity Manager and keep all distribution lists up to date.

• Support with access rights to SharePoint/Teams sites and channels where needed based on business needs.

Process all requests in Intility Identity Manager.

License & Application Management

• Manage licenses for specific applications (e.g. Wolters Kluwer): adding and removing users and allocating licenses.

Location-Specific Systems & Infrastructure

• Provide management (where needed) & support (with Intility) for the server room, network infrastructure, and location-specific systems including alarm system, intercom/doorbell, phone lines, printers, AV equipment, and meeting rooms.

Budget & Vendor Management

• Support the tracking of the local IT budget: monitoring actuals against budget and flagging variances to the local COO.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Support the Group CDO and local COO on upcoming migration projects (e.g. DMS replacement, tax reporting software).

• Support projects aimed at improving end-user experience, whether through cost reductions or better-performing suppliers.
