Jouw rol

Wij zijn op zoek naar een ervaren Business Controller met minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring om Svalner Atlas Group te versterken op ons centrale kantoor in Amsterdam. Het betreft een senior, bedrijfsgerichte rol met veel contact met het management en belangrijke stakeholders in een internationale, professionele dienstverlening.

In deze functie rapporteer je aan de Group CFO en de Group Head of Business Control, beiden gestationeerd in Zweden.

Als Business Controller fungeer je als vertrouwde financieel partner, primair voor onze activiteiten in de Benelux, en lever je inzichten, analyses en beslissingsondersteuning om prestaties, winstgevendheid en duurzame groei te bevorderen.

Je verantwoordelijkheden bestaan uit:

• Financiële prestatieanalyse en maandelijkse managementrapportage

• Budgettering, forecasting en langetermijn financiële planning

• KPI-ontwikkeling, monitoring en opvolging van bedrijfsprestaties

• Optreden als financieel businesspartner voor het maangement en senior stakeholders

• Opstellen van ad-hoc analyses en besluitvormingsmateriaal

• Voortdurende verbetering van financiële processen, tools en rapportagestructuren

We zien graag dat je beschikt over:

• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als Business Controller of in een vergelijkbare senior controlling-rol

• Een masterdiploma in Finance, Economie, Bedrijfskunde of een aanverwant vakgebied

• Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een duidelijke bedrijfsmatige instelling

• Gevorderde Excel-vaardigheden; ervaring met BI-tools (bijv. Power BI) is een pre

• Vaardigheid om complexe financiële informatie helder en overtuigend te communiceren

• Uitstekende beheersing de Nederlandse en Engelse taal; zowel in woord als geschrift

The role

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join Svalner Atlas Group in our office in Amsterdam. This is a senior, business-oriented role with strong exposure to management and key stakeholders in an international professional services environment.

The role will report to the Group CFO or the Group Head of Business Control, both based in Sweden.

As a Business Controller, you will act as a trusted financial partner to primarily our business in the Benelux area, providing insights, analysis, and decision support to drive performance, profitability, and sustainable growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial performance analysis and monthly management reporting

• Budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning

• KPI development, monitoring, and business performance follow‑up

• Acting as a financial business partner to management and senior stakeholders

• Preparing ad‑hoc analyses and decision‑making material

• Continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting structures

Your profile:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Controller or in a similar senior controlling role

• A master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

• Strong analytical skills and a clear business mindset

• Advanced Excel skills: experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) is a strong advantage

• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and convincingly

• Excellent command of Dutch and English
